The cotton thread is flat woven with polyester thread and has a Martindale of 35,000. The fabric consists of 85% polyester and 15% cotton. This combination of natural and synthetic fibres makes the fabric easy to keep clean. Our Sucre woven fabric has soft and full grip and a modern look. The super-strong Maribor blend fabric makes the upholstered furniture suitable for intensive residential use (Martindale 100,000). This soft fabric is made of 100% polyester and is very colourfast. The coarse melange weave pattern gives the fabric a full and deep look. The light colour nuances provide a comfortable, generous feel. Are you looking for visible and tactile comfort? Then this wonderfully soft chunky rib fabric is the perfect match. Our Split rib fabric is a woven polyester fabric with a high-pile rib structure. The back of the fabric is reinforced with a tightly woven backing. Split is tested to a Martindale of 40,000 which ensures that the fabric is very hard-wearing. Care instructions Dab any stains dry immediately with a clean cloth or tissue. Definitely do not rub! Most liquids can be removed with lukewarm water. Use a gentle circular motion from the outside inwards. If the fabric can be removed from the furniture, washing at 30 degrees or dry-cleaning is possible. Protection As a general rule, we do not recommend impregnating our upholstered furniture. However, should you wish to do so, please test the impregnating agent on an invisible part of the fabric beforehand. Impregnation is strongly discouraged for our velvets and teddy fabrics. Split rib fabric is treated with Teflon Fabric Protector. This treatment forms a protection around each fibre, making the fabric resistant to splashes, dirt and dust. Impregnation is no longer necessary for this reason.
