The Maddox desk is a true eye-catcher because of the top which is made of robust recycled wood. The characteristics of rough recycled wood can be seen in the knots, grains and cracks in the surface. The desk has a light transparent wax layer for protection, but the desk requires very careful maintenance. Moisture quickly penetrates the wood, which can cause unsightly rings. The Maddox desk has a height of 77 cm. From the ground to the bottom of the desk the space measures 64 cm. The top has a width of 110 cm and a depth of 50 cm. The wood thickness is 2.5 cm. The drawer on the left-hand side has a robust front (hxw: 9.5x53 cm) with milled handles. The drawer measures (hxwxd) 7x48x44 cm. The open compartment on the right-hand side is 10 cm high, 50 cm wide and 46 cm deep. The stable metal legs have a diameter of 3 cm at the bottom and extend upwards to o 5 cm at the top. To protect hard floors, place felt glides under the legs (o 2 cm).
