The Silas desk is made of black FSC-certified ash and comes from the collection of the Dutch brand WOOOD. The Silas series has a contemporary modern look and offers a good basis for the interior.
Material
This desk has two practical drawers and is made of ash wood (finger jointed), has been sanded and lacquered in the colour blacknight. Ash wood is a slightly soft wood with a tight, straight grain. The straight grain pattern ensures that ash wood can be bent well, which makes ash wood very suitable for the furniture industry.
Treated ash wood is strong and hardwearing, but untreated ash wood can show a lot of movement and quickly yellow. Sanded ash gives a neat, smooth look. Brushed ash has more character and band sawn ash has a very robust and rough look.

The Silas desk has a height of 75 cm, a width of 140 cm and a depth of 44 cm. The base is made of black metal and has a height of 63 cm.
