Prevents tropical hardwood from rapidly ageing to a grey colour. Protects hardwood against contamination and ensures that the natural, red-brown colour of the hardwood is maintained for several months. This Oil also prevents the wood from rapidly turning black. Instructions for use 1. We recommend to use eye protection and rubber gloves. Cover the ground under your work area before starting. 2. New hardwood, grey hardwood or oiled hardwood : first clean with Exotan Teak Cleaner. 3. Make sure the wood is dry and free of dust. 4. Shake and stir Hardwood Oil at least a minute before use. Insufficient shaking can lead to uneven decolourisation. 5. Try the Hardwood Oil on a small area first (e.g. the back of a leg) to judge if the colour meets your expectations. 6. Apply a very thin layer of Hardwood Oil evenly over the furniture with an Exotan application cloth. Apply a second very thin coat after 30 minutes drying time. Treat your furniture at least twice a year.
