The complete maintenance pack for teak to maintain its warm colour. Contents: abrasive pad (ECP455-P) application cloths (ECP456) Teak cleaner (ECP250) Teak sealer (ECP310) Cleaner instructions for use 1. Before using the Teak Cleaner, eye protection and rubber gloves should be worn. Cover the ground under your working area before cleaning. 2. First moisten the furniture with water. 3. Shake Teak Cleaner before use. 4. Apply Teak Cleaner with a soft cloth or sponge. Allow to soak for 3 minutes. 5. Brush the furniture clean with the Exotan scrubbing pad in the direction of the grain. 6. Rinse furniture well with water. 7. For a prolonged brown colour, leave the furniture to dry and treat with Teak Sealer or Hardwood Oil. 8. Or let the teak weather to a patina grey and treat it with Teak Protec. Sealer instructions for use 1. We recommend to use eye protection and rubber gloves. Cover the ground under your work area before starting. 2. New teak, grey teak or oiled teak: first clean with Exotan Teak Cleaner. 3. Make sure the wood is dry and free of dust. 4. Shake and stir Teak Sealer at least a minute before use. Insufficient shaking can lead to uneven decolourisation. 5. Try the Teak Sealer on a small area first (e.g. the back of a leg) to judge if the colour meets your expectations. 6. Apply a very thin layer of Teak Sealer evenly over the furniture with an Exotan application cloth. Apply a second very thin coat after 30 minutes drying time. Treat your furniture at least once a year.
