Prevents teak from rapidly ageing to a grey colour. Protects teak from soiling throughout the season and maintains teak's natural light brown colour much longer than a treatment with teak/hardwood oil. Teak Sealer also prevents teak from blackening quickly. Also suitable for other types of wood. Instructions for use 1. We recommend to use eye protection and rubber gloves. Cover the ground under your work area before starting. 2. New teak, grey teak or oiled teak: first clean with Exotan Teak Cleaner. 3. Make sure the wood is dry and free of dust. 4. Shake and stir Teak Sealer at least a minute before use. Insufficient shaking can lead to uneven decolourisation. 5. Try the Teak Sealer on a small area first (e.g. the back of a leg) to judge if the colour meets your expectations. 6. Apply a very thin layer of Teak Sealer evenly over the furniture with an Exotan application cloth. Apply a second very thin coat after 30 minutes drying time. Treat your furniture at least once a year.
