Our Burq velvet consists of 100% polyester and has a premium quality. The fabric has a Martindale of 100,000, which means it is suitable for intensive home use. Velvet will not pill easily and is colourfast. The fabric is, to the surprise of many, a very easy fabric to maintain. Maintenance Small stains can be easily removed by dabbing with an absorbent cloth. Larger stains can be easily removed with a mild detergent and a microfibre cloth. If necessary, use a hair dryer to speed up drying of the stain. Do keep enough distance so that the fabric does not burn. Afterwards, the fabric can be brushed with a velvet brush. This brush is very good for weekly maintenance. Protection Impregnation is strongly discouraged for our velvets and teddy fabrics.
